Shattered Dreams (The Leslie Vass Story) (Motion Picture)

A 17 year old boy in Maryland finds himself in a wrong time, wrong place situation. Leslie Vass was on his way to being drafted by the NBA when things took a very wrong turn for him. Leslie was arrested for an armed robbery that he was never involved in. Mr. Vass was abandoned by the Justice system in 1975 and was convicted and sentenced to a 20 year sentence. Leslie served 10 years of his sentence by fighting for his freedom from within the prison. Leslie had fought so hard for his freedom that he went on to be exonerated. While fighting from the inside the real criminal remained walking free all because of his ties in the same system that had ruined Leslie's life. Corruption in the legal system has remained flawed for many years this story is just the beginning.
